Silver pendant - feather

The feather often represents strength and growth, as well as hope and freedom. Birds fly freely in the clouds, closest to the spirit realm. Sometimes when a feather is in our path, it may be perceived as a message. The feather teaches us faith and hope in ourselves and in the universe. As a human, we often fantasize about spreading our wings to fly and feel free! The symbol of a feather holds meaning in many different religious practices. Feathers are often used in ceremonies and are considered to be very sacred. In many practices worldwide, feathers are used to sift through the smoke of sage during a cleansing. In the Bible, the feather is known to be one of the most common symbols. The meaning of the feather in the bible is also associated with moving through life freely, and connects the symbol with the heavens. It is a common belief within many different religions that the feather is overall spiritual evolution.
